What Is a Block?
Earning a spot on a Pioneer Guard Block is a badge of honor. Blocks are our competition teams—highly skilled groups selected to perform at major drill meets. Only the most dedicated, disciplined, and skilled cadets earn a spot on a block.

Exhibition
The Armed Exhibition team showcases creative and intricate rifle routines that go beyond the standard drill movements. These performances include complexnd coordinated sequences that high springs and tosses highlight the team's creativity and technical prowess. It's the most exciting competition to watch and the most coveted team to be on. Only the best of the best make the cutfor the exhibition block. The routines are designed to captivate and impress judges and audiences with their originality and precision.
Regulation
The Armed Regulation team focuses on executing precise drill movements with rifles. Members of this team perform a series of standardized movements that are evaluated for their accuracy, synchronization, and
overall execution. Perfection is critical for the regulation block—every movement must be crisp, and everyone must stay in perfect alignment.
This block is not for the faint of heart! Cadets have to be tough to be on the Armed Regulation team. The routines are meticulously practiced to ensure that each
movement is performed flawlessly, demonstrating the team's discipline and skill.


Color Guard
The Armed Color Guard team, comprised of just four members, operates in a highly competitive environment where precision is paramount. They undertake the solemn responsibility of carrying and presenting national and organizational flags. Each movement is meticulously executed with rigorous attention to detail, as the team
navigates the pressure of intense scrutiny. The stakes are exceptionally high, requiring flawless performance to uphold the honor and dignity associated with their pivotal role.
Inspection
The Armed Inspection team is renowned for its high-
pressure environment, where cadets face not only
meticulous uniform and rifle inspections but also a series
of challenging questions. They must maintain composure while being quizzed on a range of facts, adding an additional layer of difficulty to their responsibilities. This block underscores the critical significance of attention to detail and personal presentation.
Team members
undergo thorough scrutiny for the cleanliness and proper wear of their uniforms, as well as the condition and handling of their rifles. The ultimate objective is to
exemplify the pinnacle of military bearing and discipline,
ensuring that every aspect of their performance meets
the highest standards of excellence.
