LEAVENWORTH HIGH SCHOOL DRILL TEAMS
Leavenworth Drill is built on discipline, precision, and pride. Under the leadership of 1SG, our cadets train, compete, and represent our program at the highest level.
Our drill program includes two competitive teams:
• Pioneer Guard (Armed Drill Team)
• Cavalry Angels (Unarmed Drill Team)
Each team has its own unique style, but both share the same commitment to excellence, teamwork, and performance.
PIONEER GUARD
Armed Drill Team
The Pioneer Guard is our armed drill team, specializing in routines that incorporate rifles and advanced weapon handling. Cadets develop precision, timing, and technical skill while performing both regulation and exhibition routines.
This team emphasizes:
• Weapon control and safety
• Complex movements and choreography
• High-level precision under pressure
CAVALRY ANGELS
Unarmed Drill Team
The Cavalry Angels are our unarmed drill team, focusing on sharp movements, synchronization, and visual performance without the use of weapons.
This team emphasizes:
• Uniformity and timing
• Strong attention to detail
• Clean, disciplined execution
