2027 National Competitions Information
We are excited to announce that our drill teams will once again have the opportunity to compete on the national stage this season.
However, this year there has been a significant change to the national competition schedule. Historically, Army Nationals and All-Service Nationals were both held in Daytona Beach, Florida, with Army Nationals taking place the day before All-Service Nationals. Because both events were held in the same location and back-to-back, we only had to budget for a single trip.
This year, Army Nationals has been moved to San Antonio, Texas, while All-Service Nationals will remain in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a result, families wishing to attend both competitions must now budget for two separate national trips.
The estimated cost is $300 per cadet, per trip. We is double what our families have traditionally paid for nationals competitive travel, and we want to make participation as manageable as possible.
To help spread the cost throughout the year, we are offering a flexible payment plan option that allows families to contribute toward travel expenses whenever it is convenient for you.
Flexible Payment Plan
Families may make payments at any time throughout the year and in any amount that works best for your budget. There is no required payment schedule. Whether you choose to contribute weekly, monthly, or occasionally throughout the season, every payment will be applied toward your cadet's travel balance.
A payment form is available below for you to access at any time to submit travel payments.
To help everyone stay informed, a shared Google Sheet will be maintained showing payments received and remaining balances due. This sheet will be updated weekly, no later than Friday, so families can monitor your progress throughout the year. It will not be posted publicly on this website, we will provide that in our private communication threads.
Travel Eligibility
Travel to national competitions is a privilege earned through dedication to the team and is not guaranteed for every cadet.
Selection for travel will be based on a variety of factors, including:

Block participation status

Work ethic and commitment

Attendance and participation

Behavior and conduct

Contribution to the success of the team

Passing all required grade checks
Cadets who do not make Block may still be given an opportunity to travel; however, travel for non-Block cadets is not guaranteed and will depend on available space, team needs, the above bullet list, and commander and coach discretion.
Refund Policy
If it is determined that a cadet will not be traveling due to team selection decisions or unforeseen circumstances, any travel funds paid by that family will be refunded.
Refunds will not be issued throughout the year simply because a family wishes to withdraw funds that have already been contributed toward travel expenses. Families who choose to leave the team entirely will receive a refund of their travel funds.
Our goal is to make these opportunities accessible while ensuring we can responsibly plan and budget for national competitions throughout the season.
